Weather System

Weather that changes while you race. Clouds roll in, rain starts, the track gets wet, then dries out step by step. Every condition is fixed, so every record is fair.

How a rain shower plays out

Every setting, not just the sky

Standard server weather only changes a few settings. We set every one the game supports, so each condition looks and drives the way it should.

  • Rain

    From a light drizzle to a proper downpour.

  • Track wetness

    How damp the surface is — the part you feel most in grip.

  • Puddles

    Standing water after real rain. A drizzle leaves the track damp, not flooded.

  • Temperature

    Air around 20 °C, track around 28 °C. Sun warms it a little, rain cools it a little — no random swings.

  • Wind

    Calm on sunny days, stronger when storms roll in.

  • Humidity

    Dry air in the sun, heavy air under clouds, rain and fog.

How the weather changes

  1. Holds, then moves on

    Each weather lasts 5 to 10 minutes before the next one rolls in.

  2. Blends in over minutes

    Changes fade in over 3 to 4 minutes. Clouds build, rain starts light, and grip drops gradually — never a sudden switch.

  3. Only natural next steps

    Sunshine doesn't jump straight to a storm. Weather only moves to what makes sense next: rain leaves puddles, then the track dries.

After the rain

When the rain stops, the track doesn't dry instantly. Puddles stay for a while, then the surface stays damp before it's fully dry — so the fast line comes back lap by lap.

  • Cloudy puddles

    Rain has stopped, clouds stay. Standing water on the racing line.

  • Foggy puddles

    Mist settles over a soaked track.

  • Sunny puddles

    The sun is out, but the puddles haven't gone yet.

  • Cloudy damp

    Puddles are gone, the surface is still damp. Grip returns slowly.

  • Foggy damp

    Low visibility on a drying track.

  • Sunny damp

    The last stage — the sun dries out the final damp patches.

Fair records in every condition

Each weather always brings the same rain, wetness, puddles and temperature. A rain lap today is driven in the same rain as a rain lap last month, so boards compare like with like. Every lap is saved with its weather: find out who's fastest in the sun, in the rain, or in the fog.

If the weather changes during your lap, it is saved as Mixed — it never lands on a clean-weather board.
